New to Kpro - issues.

Hi,
I've just installed a PRA kpro into my 2004 UK EP3 which is modified with just an AEM CAI and Mangex back box and am having the following problems both of which I've seen mentioned on here:-
Surging idle whilst on choke from cold. The idle speed ramps right up to 2000rpm initially and goes up and down randomly as the car warms up. Once warm the problem is almost gone but the idle speed does not remain 100% constant - generally between 750-1000rpm.
This weekend I will clean out the idle valve as per the sticky. Weird thing is that it did not do this before fitting the kpro
Second problem is the engine pushing on when decelarating i.e. accelerating to say 4000rpm then taking your foot off the gas and letting the engine slow down on it's own then every so often it feels as if you have just dabbed the accelerator pedal so it lunges forward for a split second whilst you are decelerating.
Currently I have not had the kpro tuned specifically to my car as I'm waiting until I have a full catback exhaust fitted.
Our UK Hondata specialists have told me to run the "civictypertuned" map in k-manager until I have a full tune up done. This is the only map that I'm using.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as the car now has a coulpe of annoying faults that were not there on the standard ECU (which I still have).
P.S. My factory fit ECU is a PRA-E12 and my kpro is a PRA-E11 - does this make any difference?
Thanks.
Stu.
