Quick question for ya?

On the K20a3 will you run lean with a test pipe or race header like the rsx-s? It doesn't say you will on your spec sheet but just want to make sure. Thanks.

You may, it all depends on your modifications. The typical rule is if you want to run a test pipe, you should get the K-Pro.

This is taken directly fome the hondata website with a description for the EP3, it sounds like a test pipe is ok.

This program was tuned specifically for a CAI (cold air intake) as they give the best power gains. All future tuning will be done with either the stock or CAI intake.

Headers have been tested with this program. Dyno charts can be found in the tech section (soon).

Test pipe. This will eventually give you an engine check light telling you have a faulty catalytic converter. We have not seen this error cause any power loss.

Where this description is also from hondata for the rsx-s, where it states a race header is not recommended:

What will work well:

Intakes (especially cold air intakes)
Cat-Back exhausts
Hondata Heatshield Intake manifold gaskets
What is not recommended:

Stock Airbox
Race header
Race camshafts
Forced induction

I don't want to run lean but wouldn't mind saving the $400.00 if I could as long as it would be safe with the reflash.
