Thanks, managed to find the D15B base map.Spunkster wrote:All the built in calibrations can be found by goign to File, New. You will probably have to start with a P06 or P08 basemap and start making changes from there.
Now having a different problem.
I followed the direction in the help menu regarding loading the base map and only changing the injector size to get it started. Unfortunately this didn't get the car started.
When I hit upload it seems to be loading the settings to the ECU, but no luck when it comes to start.
If information is shown when you click on the "show ECU information" button, does that mean all is ok with the ECU? Or does that just mean the link between the laptop on the Hondata is good? Basically I am trying to figure out if I have a socketing issue now.
I am getting both fuel and spark. Yesterday I put the original ECU back in the car and dropped the fuel pressure quite a bit to compensate for the over-sized injectors and it fired up idled and reved fine.Spunkster wrote:Who socketed the ecu? Have you checked for fuel and spark?
The owner of the car purchased his S300 from an online retailer through eBay. He ordered the S300j, but the seller sent a standard S300. After not receiving any replies regarding swapping to an S300j as order, he finally got fed up and bought a P28 from eBay. I had a co-worker socket the P28 as I wasn't confident enough to do it myself.
At this point I am fairly certain there is an issue with the socketing of the ECU. There is connectivity between Smanager and Hondata daughter board, and I am able to flash the Hondata with maps. Seems like the P28 isn't seeing what is on the daughter board though.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this, because I need to get this car out of my garage ASAP.
Owner of the car has come to some kind of agreement with the dealer who sold him the S300. Seems as though a replacement is going to be sent pre-socketed and tested.Spunkster wrote:I would suggest going over the socketing of the ecu and make sure there are no cold solder joints.
For now the factory ECU is going back in to get the car running enough to get it out of the garage.
