why does the hondata cut out at 7k rpm when I set it to 8400rpm. with 550cc low resistance. my friend has same problem now.???? whats the deal here. Just got my ecu back from hondata it seems to work fine now. I'll see if it will do again on the dyno"but they wont tell me what is wrong with the ecu that i sent in"...



Turbo B20 running 20psi with 3bar map

Usually a 7000 rpm limiter indicates the ECU thinks the engine is cold, or the low speed cam only is in operation. Otherwise it could be the shift limiter, so unplug the clutch cable and see if it goes away.
