if i use a map bypass instead of using a gm 3bar map, will i still be able to datalog boost or map presure???????

ok by map bypass you mean?
if you are talking like a missing link, it will log up to boost, then your ecu will not know when and where to add fuel, plus you wont have boost cut because the ecu has no clue where your boost level is.

im lost can you explain a little more what you mean by map bypass?

No you should not use a bypass. You need to get a different map sensor so that the ecu can see the correct amount of boost.

A new map sensor is a lot cheaper compared to thrashing your engine with incorrect map readings arising from your missing link mods..
