- serial number of your K-Pro: 998
- vehicle you have: 2004 Acura RSX Type-S
- ECU you are using: K-Pro K-Series Programmable ECU
Mods: Comptech Supercharger, 3.15 SC Pulley, IPS KSC Cams,
Upgraded Valve Springs, RC-650cc Injectors, Comptech Full Race Header with no CAT, INJEN CAI.........I believe that's everything that's relevant
- specific description of problem: on the KAL I'm using, it's setup to flash the MIL light when it detects knock, the only time I get "significant" knock indications is when I'm at normal driving conditions (50-70mph), from 2k rpm to 3k rpm, above 3K the MIL light stops flashing.
When I did the 3rd gear pull, by itself, I only noticed a couple of spots of what appeared to be knock, but when I did the DL with the shift into 4th through 6th gear, it kept recording while I shifted to 6th and that's where I noticed all the knock in 6th gear from 50mph to 70 mph.
The only thing I've really messed with on the KAL is under "Parameters" "Fuel Trim" tab, I changed the "Overall Fuel Trim" to 2%, not sure if I really did anything there, and under the "Idle" tab, bumped the Duty Cycle adjustment a couple of notches to the right to keep it from stalling.
I've included 2 DL's (3rd Gear Pull) and (3rd Gear Pull with shift to 4th)
Would love to know what you guys see.
Thanks,
Will
