can't get plx wideband to work on s300

Post by turbotypeR »

i have my dm-5 sm-afr hooked up and the gauge works, but i can't get it to read right on the s300. It is reading in the .7's and .8's when the car is idleing around 11.0.in the settings, i have the plx mseries selected.air/fuel selected. ihave hooked it to d10 and d14 and of course selected the correct source for each. what am i missing?

Nothing locked up, your car is overheating. It got up to 242.4 degrees by the end of the datalog. Double click on the AF in the sensor window and make sure you have it set to read AF and not Lambda.

i found that the ect sensor was bad. i put another one in out of a car i had out back and it worked fine.i put mine in the other car to plug the hole and as soon as i started threading it in, it brokein half. i have made sure air/fuel was selected several times. it idles around .85 when the gauge reads 11.0 or so and if you leave the key on, when the gauge goes lean it reads about 1.36. sounds like it is reading lambda to me

THere are 2 places to specify LAmbda or AF. You must do it in both... Settings and Sensor list.
