fuel overrun map

Under the parameters, under the advance tab, you have the fuel overrun map.

I would like to understand this more better.

How does the engine behave when you alter this? I've noticed the the decel & initial accel behavior altered when touching this. The jerkiness during the decel/accel seems to be related to this.

Also, I would like to know how kpro extrapolates beyond the map on the table. From my understanding, the in between should be linearly interpolated, however, beyond that, what is the behavior?

Can we alter the rpm values? It seems that this is fixed. My question is inside kpro, is this a fixed value also. Meaning if I alter the rpm value in the kal and upload, will this work properly? Is this value fixed inside the code and that is why I am not allowed to alter it?

I would like a better understanding of how this will affect the engine. Please let me know.

Thanks,

fvang

You can alter the RPM and Load indexes by right clicking them. Obviously, you should upload the map after altering an index. :)

Thanks but I am not talking about the ignition/fuel/cam map. I am talking about the rpm/map table under the advance tab for fuel overrun.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
