3rd gen Honda

Post by A20A1T »

Well at this time i have a 87 accord which i thought about going full EMS but desided to go the Hondata route. The accord is a pre OBD but were in the proccess of changing it to OBDI using a F22 dizzy(4th gen accord) and using a P75 ECU (from a 90-93 Non-vtec teg). Just need to know if any hondata system will work with the setup. To add the car will be running a turbo setup.

This engine and vehicle is not supported. It may or may not work, and there will be a lot of extra wiring that needs to be done. I would suggest starting with a better car if you wnat to be able to tune and have a turbo.

Well as of right now this will be my turbo car just becuase even though it is an 87 the block is iron cast so it can handle the boost. Plus the motor is already fully built bottom end and head for turbo application. I'm really not trying to go full standalone if i don't need to(just more money i have to shell out). I'm a member of 3geez.com an we have about 3-4 peps that have gone turbo but just using a BTM or some other system. I was hoping to go Hondata just because it is for hondas but is mine the exception cuz of the yr. of the car even though i'm converting to OBDI. Closest car that would be about the same as the 3rd gen accord is the CRX or 1st gen teg.
