tuned a 99 civic today that had an old stage 4b set up, anyway when I got done tuning and put his interface box in it would only rev to about 4000k.. no check engine light. Had to let him use a s200b interface box till we find out what's up. Anyone else ever come across a similar issue? any help would be greatly appreciated :?:

Was the light on the interface box flashing or solid? It sounds like you burned a V3 ROM when it should have been done as a v2.5 ROM.

it was flashing slow..and I burned the chip with all the latest updates on re4..Can I take that tune and downgrade to v 2.5?

RE4 cannot tune staged systems. The old software must be used (romeditor 3).

Staged systems have not been sold for almost 3 years. It is impossible to make software that is fully backwards compatible with all systems that are no longer sold.
