The dyno chart for k20z1 reflash indicates peak torque at 149.4 ft-lbs. The dyno chart for k20z3 reflash indicates peak torque at 162 ft-lbs!!!! How can it be possible????

Because the engines have different cams, a different intake, different throttle body, different air intake, different header and a different exhaust. Unsurprisingly the engines produce a different shaped torque curve.

Thanx Doug for your answer! By the way, I'm the first EP you tuned on the "Dyno day" 2 years ago in Montreal...
1- Ok! I'm asking this question because I just bought a new Civic Si 2007 with the K20Z3 engine. Many people said the K20Z3 produce less torque then K20A2, K20Z1, K20A with same bolt-on. Many people said that it has less potentiel too. I just want to know your opinion on this new engine.
2- What is your oppinion about the stock air box. I read that it is almost like a CAI. So a real CAI would not make significant gain!!!
3- Finally, does the OEM catback flow enough to use it with a DCRH?
THANX!
P.S. I'm about to ship you my ecu for a reflash, and I wish very hard another kind of K-PRO for that engine.

These are questions you need to ask an engine builder or dyno tuner. We just provide the tuning tools.
I forget to add that the K20Z1 and K20Z3 have different oil pumps...

Well ok! I just thought you were able to answer my questions because of all the tuning you did to create the k20z3 reflash!!
