random rev limiters??

lately i have been getting random shift light/CEL lights coming on at low rpm and the car feels like it has hit a rev limiter.. these all stay illuminated until you let off the gas. it usually happens at WOT and usually in 2nd gear, although in first gear and 3rd is has happened occasionaly and as i pulled onto my street about an hour ago it happened at like 10% throttle as i turned.

someone said it is a problem with the interface box.. anyone ever heard of this before?

still does it.. more frequently now...

if i take it up to like 8K in first.. when i shift into 2nd and the wheels hook up i get the CEL on... but no codes... and it's like i hit a rev limiter

someone must have an idea!>?

Sounds like a loose wire in the wiring of the car since it does it with vibrations from turning and acelerationf and decerlating for example.

i burned another EPROM and unplugged the interface box and the ECU and then plugged it all back in w/ the new EPROM and it hasn't done it in the last 100 or so miles... so it may have been wires
