Switched power means that it receives 12 volts only when the key is in the on possition. THe fuse box is the best location to use for this as it has empty plugs you can connect a spade connector to that are switched power sources.

You check the box for invert output

Have you tried unchecking the invert output box? Is the input you are using for vtec activation still connected to it's original component?

You must follow the diagram EXACTLY. The wires cannot go to anything else. Alt C is alternator control and is not needed.

i wired it directly from the ecu just now and with that wire cut my car wont run.so i switched it to a15 and it is still stuck on

The only reason a car would not start after trying to wire this is if you wired something incorrectly. I would suggest double checking your wiring and you may want to have a shop that is familiar with engine swaps and wiring take a look at it.

iv done more tha 15 swaps from ef to ek and i put a 4g63 in to a 95 n/t eclipse witch every one said was impossible and could not be done for under $10,000 and i did it for $1700 including the motor and re wired them. am pretty sure i know what im do n and when i took it t a autharised hondata dealer they told me to bring them a p28 and have it re socketed if i wanted vtec and wheen i told them about the relay they said "never heard of that". sorry if i come off as an ass im not trying to be one
