need our hondata expert opinion. would it be okay to unplug the secondary o2 sensor and leave the sensor off the car and tape up the connector on the car so it doesn't corrode? (i'll be disabling obd2 in kpro)

this megan test pipe with resonator looks like it'll damage the secondary o2 sensor... insulation will probably burn up and kill the sensor.

If the secondary burns, then i would be more worried about the primary sensor. Yes you can do what you have proposed.

my long term fuel trim seems to be at 0 at all times since i took the secondary o2 sensor off and disabled obd2 ... is this normal?

secondary o2 sensor is at 4.08 or 4.10v at all times (i guess that is normal since the sensor is not plugged in).

datalog is attached with .kdl format but needs to be renamed to .zip format and unzips to about 70mb.

The secondary sensor and OBD2 have nothing to do with fuel trim. The datalog you have uploaded is corrupted and will not open. Post y our calibration and a short datalog.

you will need to rename the extension from .kdl to .zip then unzip it (after you unzip the name should be b.kdl) the datalog unzips to 75mb and has ~1 hour worth of logging to show that long term fuel trim does not change even though shorterm fuel trim changes from 0 to 10 to -1, etc.


interesting... i was going through a few people's datalogs and seems like if obd2 is disabled long term fuel trim is set to 0 at all times.

only post datalogs that are a few minutes in length at most. We will not attempt to open and find problems in an hour or 2 long datalog file.

I stand corrected. There is no long term fuel trim with OBD2 switched off.

wasn't trying to prove you or anyone wrong .. was just curious as usual.
