Boost control not working.

we were not able to get the controller to properly control the solenoid. it would go right to 35psi and never go any lower.

at first we had it wired as instructed but it would not go past wastegate boost as the solenoid would not power up via the the ecu controller.
we then wired the pos. side of the solenoid wire end directly to the battery thinking it was having a power issue with the other side wired to the correct ecu pin, and it still would lock is in at full open (35psi).

any ideas?
Should I send the ecu in for diagnosis and the solenoid as well?

I'm running one of your older obd-2a to ovd1 ecu conversion harnesses (i wired the pin directly to the conversion harness ecu plug not the wireing harness side of the harness to ensure it was correct)

what is cost of me sending it to you for diag and/if repair?
I can send the ecu, aem solenoid and conversion harness.

Have the components been added to the ecu for boost control? If so, who added them?

yes they have.

when installed the components were installed exactly facing the same direction as the factory like components were on the board.
assuming this was what was ment by the information called "wiring should face you" in the instructions? was this an incorrect assumption? if so they can be desoldered and reversed w/o any problems.

If the diodes and transisitors were installed badkwards, they may be damaged. You need to make sure they were installed correctly. If they were not, you may have damaged something.

how do I know if they are backwards? the descripting didn't make a lot of sence to me personally. The components were installed the same direction the otehr stocker parts were on the pcb from the factory. the ecu is a P28.

do you have a better close up than the one in the instructions of how the parts should be facing so I can ensure they are faced the correct direction?

nope no fix or answer for a fix. best responce was a $100 charge to troubleshoot the ecu and price increased from there.

Have you checked to see if the solenoid is actually activating?

what they have done troubleshooting to your ecu, does your BC working now? i have send my ecu to them already, but it was still not working, im stuck now, i am using p72 on h22a turbo charge.

yes the solenoid works fine if i connect it to the power source or ground the neg side out.

I was trying to use hondata as my boost controller but have no luck, so now i was jsut wondering what i need do to have it switch my 2 stage turbosmart manual controller form low to high at the correct time. I figure a relay will be needed, but i'm trying to see what else i need.
