heres the story, i put a Head gasket in my h22a4 to lower the compression to approx 9.5:1 in which case i should be able to run more timing than what was on my base map for a 10:1 h22 correct? I brought it to one of hondatas reccomended tuners and we were getting boost creep on a 4.35 psi spring all the way up to 10 psi
my question is could my retarded timing causing hot EGTs make boost creep since hotter gasses have more energy? this would make the turbo keep spinning while the WG is open
and btw i have tried everything to cure this problem so please dont suggest my vaccum lines. I have narrowed it down to this timing thing or the manifold, which is strange because nobody else with this manifold has boost creep
