Help with DSM injectors on S300
I know some(if not many) have still used DSM injectors on their Hondas despite "Hondata" had posted that Hondata s300 will not work(or even fire)with DSM injectors even with the resistor box in place due to its different electrical characteristics.I have a GSR engine with s300 where I plan to run with 560cc DSM injectors from a MITSU EVO..How did you guys do it?what resistor(ohms) did you use?I really appreciate your inputs and replies.Thank you!
We tell people this in order to make it quicker, cheaper and easier to tune their car. It is not true that we tell people DSM injectors will not 'fire'.
What happens is that with most DSM injectors it is very difficult to tune the fuel at partial throttle. If this happens then typically you will spend a lot of time and money tuning, and then either repace the injectors or drive a car which runs from 12:1 to 18:1 at part throttle.

Hi Hondata! My apologies for the misquote("...that DSM injectors won't fire.")..anyway,how about using Denso 440cc squirters from Toyota 3SGTE Celica engines?I haven't checked if they are saturated or peak and hold.Do they have different electrical characteristics like DSM's do?If they are peak and hold,will they work with Hondata assuming a resistor box is in place?..I don't have any qualms with RC but they are just a bit pricey vs other OEM injectors with the same rating..
