NTK L1H1 wideband connection

Post by jtcdudeman »

I am trying to hook up my NTK L1H1 wideband sensor into my s300 for all of my O2 sensor needs.. Realistically, the only information I have been able to find is how to hook up the PLX devices wideband O2 sensor up.. I am running a Uego 1000 by EFI systems wideband with L1H1 sensor and would love some wiring help.

Currently I have a new L1H1 that is still connected to a stock Honda connector.. This NTK sensor actually came in a circa 1995 Honda Civic VX and is actually a wideband sensor for those of you who are confused by the Honda Connector.

That sensor alone will not work. It needs a controller to work. YOu will need to buy a wideband kit such as the PLX devices systems.

Spunkster, I appreciate the reply so quickly... I'm not trying to be smartass or anything, but

I've been reading up on the forums for over a year now and finally decided to register so I could get some help on this.... I understand that a wideband sensor alone is not enough to hook up to the S300... I wish it was, I have a bosch lsu4.2 sensor sitting here as well.... It operates very differently than the NTK sensor and will not mate up to my wideband controller correctly, although the New EFI stuff uses this sensor...

At the time I bought the wideband it was top of the line in a little test done here in GA by my tuner Ed Senf. It responded much quicker and more accurate than any of the other setups tested. Its so simple to use and I wouldnt trade it for anything else because of how accurate it is and how long its stayed this accurate... It always matches the dyno's wideband perfectly and has for years now...

The hookup to the Hondata should be similar to the wiring listed at http://www.hondata.com/techplxwiring.html

To my knowledge the L1H1 is not compatilbe with the Uego controller....I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of that controller for support with their controller.
