Need help... engine swap

Hi,
I'm new to this but here goes. My car -

- JDM 92 civic hatch VTI(d15b sohc vtec) P08 ecu

I have swapped in a -

- B18C6 from 98 UK ITR

I know a guy who said he can convert my P08 to P28 and then remap to the specs of the itr. Is this possible?
I've been searching and others have advised me to get a p28, then get it chipped. But the hondata ecu section doesn't cover my ecu so i'm not sure if the conversion into p28 is possible.
Can someone point me in the right direction please, and advise me the best option to go for. Thanx.
