Can not datalogg

Post by JonN »

Ok. here are my setup.

Civic EG with Euro K20A2 swap.
DC swap header
AEM CAI
Hybrid-racing swap harness
Kproed PRB ECU.

The problem is that i can upload and change calibrations but i cant datalog. The lightning icon stays on for a couple of seconds before it comes of. And if it stays on i do not recivce any information from any sensors. Kmanger is completly dead.

The spark plugs is stock havnt been changed. Ive curretly have two grounds on the engine. On from the IM to chassis and one from the tranny to the chassis. Could i have more?

Two possibilites: KPro incorrectly installed (where did you get it?) or the vehicle wiring has put enough current through the ECU to damage it.

Shit. Dont remeber who i got it from, i will go look today at the serial number and sender. I bought it from a company at www.k20a.org. Isnt it strange that i can upload and change calibrations and not datalog?

I havent used it before and i bought it a year a go.

This was installed by Locash racing. You should contact them for support and possible testing.

No information from any sensors with only the key on either. But since i have an Euro CTR K20A2 with a narrow band o2 sensor, could that cause the problem. I don't know if the conversion harness i have take that under considering. Ive been talking to some people that says that if you havent the o2 correctly wired you wont be able to datalog. Some guys over at civictype-r.co.uk said that.

Like i said earlier, i dont feel the kpro is fried, i do feel like a minor error.

At this point your best bet is to contact the installer which is Locash.
