Crank angle position sensor

I tuned a car a few days ago. The engine (B18-R) had extensive modifications (ITBs, vtec killer cams etc) and turned out to be one of the most powerful B series engines I have ever tuned (238whp dynapack at from 1.8 lt!). Yesterday, we got a CEL #4 (crank angle position sensor). I tried two different distributors that were working fine in other cars and got the same problem. Any ideas?

It will be one of three things: ECU, wiring or distributor. You've elinimated the distributor, so swap out the ECU and you'll narrow it down.

It was the ECU! I was really thinking about the distributor and wiring. THe ECU never crossed my mind. Thanks Hondata.

Thanks. It is always good to get feedback to the problem resolution.
