Crank Angle Sensor CEL 4
I have a 1995 Honda Del Sol with a D16z6, I just put in a p28 with Hondata s300. I also have my stock p28 that is currently in my car. When I applied the Hondata p28 and ran the calibration, immediatly after I start my car the check engine light comes on and Hondata Displays Error 4 which is the Crank Angle sensor. Then If I remove the Hondata P28 and apply the stock one it displays another cheak engine light randomly also when the caar is running, this light is appartently a running lean warning. I called honda and they had said that my engine dosent have a Crank Angle Sensor. Withput the hondata ecu in the car runs okay, but sometimes feels like it may be running retarted, I also have an amazing idle problem, which was said to be my EGR, my idle just bounces up and down around 1000 to 1700. Although when the Hondata Ecu is in the car to idles great right aroung 600 to 800, but then if I take it down the road it sputters. Should I be concerned about the sensor or the timing, or could it just be an amazingly off tune. Basically any information about this stuff could help me. I know its alot to take in, but simply put my car has some problems.
