S200 works in '01 GSR, but not in '97 EK civic with JDM ITR

So I have a Hondata ECU s200 (p28 with obd2 plug). I had a stock program for a JDM ITR motor so I can use it in my newly aquired EK swapped car. The EK uses the stock wiring harness adapted for the ITR motor. When I plug the Hondata in, the fuel pump does not come on. No fuel pressure nor FP primeing. Is there something wrong with the hondata or the wiring in the car? The hondata worked flawlessly in the DC integra before. I am running on the stock OBD2 JDM ECU in the EK. Is there some other modification to the wiring that I need to do to accomodate the Hondata?
Thanks.

Int eh 97 EK, do all the plugs plug in together or is there a space between them?

there's a space between them.

The GSR was OBD2B, the EK is OBD2A...You have the wrong ecu for that vehicle.

so there's no way it'll work? The EK is a HC racecar, so smog and all that don't matter.

Not unless you buy an OBD2B to OBD2A adapter, which we do not offer
