Injector size settings (under fuel trim tab)

Post by mrw »

in the parameters window, under the "fuel trim" tab, there is a field for Stock injector size, and Current injector size. should the stock injector size be set to the stock size for the ECU you are using, or the stock size of the engine you are using? ....or does it even matter.

Thanks,

thanks! One more question. I'm using a P28 with s300 on a 1999 Honda Prelude, and I'm getting error code 16 "fuel Inctors". Should I just disable this error, or is there something wrong I need to fix. I'm guessing it has to do with my injectors and the injectors that are OEM for this ECU not being the same.

thanks again.

I'm using a P78j, with S300j. sorry it's not a P28.. I was worng.

This is on a 1999 Honda Prelude VTEC (non-SH). I get 2 errors, 13 "barametric pressure", and 16 "fuel injector". I will disable them both, but I wanted to make sure this is OK, and that something is not wrong with my set up. My injectors are OEM for the prelude.

you will have to disable eld, injector error and the baro sensor as the circuitry for these does not exeist in that ecu.

thanks, that's what I figured. I have them disabled.

Can the ELD input be used as the wide band input on a JDM ecu, even though JEM ECU's don't use ELD?

Thanks for all the help,

I can conferm, ELD input works on JDM ECU. I just hooked my wide band to the ELD and it reads the voltage.
