Hi there, I am after a map for the following :-

UK Civic Type-R EP3
JRSC s/c (civic si race model)
650cc RC injectors
Toda Header
Spoon N1 catback
PRB ecu with wideband lambda
97-98 octane fuel

We have tried using K20a2-rsx-650cc-jrsc-10-psi but are getting knock when revs drop down from 7000 rpm.

On the last run datalogging lambda gave 11.5 to 14.70

Any ideas on a better map would be appreciated.

Darren

For a setup like this, you will have to tune it on the dyno.

I understand this but I wanted another map for this setup until we can get on a dyno, over here in the UK some people are charging over ?400 for a dyno tune (they won't do it by the hour) which is just over $800 so a more suited map to get us by would be appreciated.

I have also noticed that knocks seem to be evident when changing gear, ie when boost drops off that is when knocks are present.

The datalog File :-

Where abouts are you in the UK?

I can get you dyno time at a very reasonable price up here in Scotland.

Hi

Did you ever find a better map for your setup? I have the same JRSC kit with ITG Maxogen air filter, standard exhaust manifold, DC Sports catback. When I received my K-Pro there was a problem with the map so I was told to upload the same one you are using. I haven't driven it yet but it seems to start and rev fine. I have to drive 460 miles to get it mapped so would like a good base map so it survives the journey!

Any help would be much appreciated!
