why im getting a knock sensor ..code 24

ok i have a LS/Vtec with hondata S300 NA motor with couple of mods on it ... now i got the s300 use so i re-calibrate using what it have .. so i put in a stock ITR calibration on it for now cause dont have the money to tune the car .. but for some reason im still geting a knock sensor light code 24 .. WHY ? bad motor of what ? please help ..

Go to the parameters and select misc. and disable the knock sensor.

What ecu are you using?

well im using a P72 with S300 .. im try the stock p61 c what happen .. but i notice that i only get it the light when the motor is aroung 195F temp coolant ... thanks

Are you sure you have a knock sensor connected to the block? Do you have the knock sensor wiring connected? Post a picture of the inside of your ecu.

well this going to sound stupid but where is the knock sensor located ? to see if its on ... ill try to get some pictures tonyt .. and i try to datalog and record it but it doesn't work .. but its datalogging just not recording ..

If you have B18A or B18B block not use knock sensor.

well that could be my problem would that be a problem in a long run for me ? cause im starting to hear noises like a a screpping metal to metal
