I am having a problem with my charging system,... The alternator isnt charging. I am only getting 12.5v @ the battery and at the alternator. Ive had it (the alternator) REBUILT AND TESTED AND THEY SAY THAT IT IS PUTTING OUT 15v. oops caps...... I am using the ELD input for my wideband and have tried disabling it and keeping it active,... Ive also tried turning the alternator control on and off. The car will die immediately if you pull off the pos or neg battery terminal. I WAS getting an ELD error code but not since I disabled it.

Im am ready to shoot this car. ANY HELP IS GGRREEAATTLLYY appreciated. :?

check all your fuses, all the 7.5amps im pretty sure that is your problem.

Are you using some sort of OBD conversion adapter? If so, a connection for the alternator might be missing.

This was REALLY weird,.... when I checked the 7.5amp fuse under the dash (test light), it worked (test light lit up on both sides of the fuse),... When I changed the fuse, the alternator started working. Weird.

It IS working now though,.... thanks
