Can Someone please back back thinking here. Perhaps I'm just being impatient. But, How long Is it suppose to take to download data logged file from the ecu. It seems to be locking up when ever I try to download the saved file from the ecu.

How long is the recording? How long is it taking? Are you downloading the file using a different version of software than the calibration that is in the ecu?

I have it set to datalog by set parameters. and this all works fine. The Ecu has been updated. I always reupload the .cal after the software has been updated for this very reason. Lengths ? I'd say they vary from 30 sec's to maybe 1min/ half . I click on the download from the ecu and it bring up the window and just sits there. Is there a progress bar or anything. So once again I propose the question. How long does this process usually take. Just give me an idea please.

If I understand your question, downloading a datalog from the ECU takes between 1 second and about 2 minutes, depending on the size of the datalog. Does the datalog download complete, and is the datalog ok once downloaded?

If you want, make a datalog of a certain time length (2 minutes perhaps), then time how long it takes to download, so that we can compare times.

Thank you for your patience. My problem was merely the fact that when i was trying download the stored datalogged runs from the ecu, I would high light all of the recordings at the same time and press the download button. After doing so the status bar would come up and just sit there not progressing for what felt like forever. However after updating the firmware via the last release. I have been highlighting only one at a time and clicking the save as button and everything seems to be working fine. Doing it this way I downloaded a 15min file in like 45 sec's. I'm thinking that perhaps trying to download them all at once was freaking it out somehow. One more question tho if i may? When i do just use the download button instead of the save as button and naming it. What does it name it and where does it save by default?
