Ignition skipping in low rpm

yes, i have had my kpro for over 2 years now and am very pleased with its performance. however i noticed for about a year now that during first and second and alittle in third there seems to be a slight drop in ignition at low rpm. most noticably in first gear.

Say if my ignition is set at 14 degrees when i hit 2000 rpm the ignition will drop to 9 deg until 2300 then back up to 15 and so on, then at 3000 will drop back down to 10deg for a split sec then back to regular. it is mild when you are driving. and i have ignored it for a year. but i think it needs to be addressed now becuase i have tried everything to get rid of it. it feels as if the ign maps are not smooth. but they are.

my tip in value is set at -100. i was thinking it is the cold ignition retard function malfunctioning.

thanks for the help hondata.

you can see from this datalog that in first gear from 1800-2500 there is a dip of 5-10deg. and another small from 3300-3500. Again in second gear from 3300-3500 and 3900-4100. then 3rd gear everything flatens out.

its not the map i have because you would see the dip in every gear if it were. i ve re done the maps plenty of times to compensate but there is still a drop in ignition no matter how much igntion you put into these areas.

Please post the calibration you are using and a datalog of that calibration showing the problem.

I misread what you said there, but you have still not provided your calibration.

Please go to Online, Tools, and select clear security. After you have cleared security, please close the program and reopen it. After you have reopened the program, go to File, New and select a stock RSX calibration and upload it to the ecu making no changes. After uploading save the calibration with a new file name and go out and datalog and record the datalog then post the calibration and datalog that you just used.
