P28 w/ S300
car worked fine yesterday
today I upgraded from 1.1 to latest version of SManager
opened my skl file and made adjustments (using new ITB tools)
upload to ecu failed w/ error (can't remember sorry)
downloaded from ecu and was successful
turned off>on car and it wouldn't start, wouldn't upload or datalog
Is there a way to reset ecu or should I just send it in? If the latter, where are the instructions for sending it in to get looked at?

Can you try going to File, New and creating a new calibration and uploading that?

I did try that, actually went through the troubleshooting sticky on this forum.
I went File > New > ITB.skl
When I clicked Upload nothing happened, no progress box, no error, the button just clicks and nothing happens.
So does that mean it's dead? If so what are the instructions for sending it in? First autox points event is Sunday so I would like to get this overnighted and fixed before then if possible.

Who socketed this ecu? What is the serial number of the s300?

I will have to get back to you on the serial# i
I originally did the socketing and had this same issue. Then sent the ecu to Hondata and got it repaired. It's worked since then...
It does seem like a socketing problem but it's just weird that everything worked fine on Sunday, then I upgraded smanager - was able to upload - upload failed - can't upload now.
You're the expert though, just tell me what I need to do to get this thing fixed.

Please call for troubleshooting. If a problem is found we will have to then give you an RMA number.

just out of curiosity, did the car crank and then died or it didn't even crank?
I had a similar problem, where the map got corrupted somehow during uploads and then it wouldn't upload anymore. The solution was to use the upload button on the toolbar instead of the menu. It's weird I know, but that's how I was able to get the map back on the ECU. while the issue was occurring the red light was flashing on the S300 daughter card
