What is the lowest the vtec point can be set on a k20a3 without having to worry about oil pressure? The k-pro help says 2000 as a general rule, but some k20a3 base maps have it set lower than 2000. For instance, the jrsc base map has it at 1600. Is there a guideline for this motor? Is the difference in vtec systems such that a lower setting can be used?

Without an oil pressure gauge it is impossible to say for sure. Also it will vary with each car as there are different tollerances for the oil pump, the bearings and cam caps.
