Well I loaded a new map today and my CEL light stays on with, which never happened before:
P1607 ECU Internal Circuit Malfunction
I'm trying to run a base rsx 8lbs 91 octane map with secondary runners disable on my JR ep3
I know it works because a couple of my friends are running the same map with no problems, trying to eliminate some low end knock
When I go back to my original map everything is good except for the fact that I have to load the map 2/3 times to get the car started. (crank but no start)
I want to try running the new CAL, but the stupid cell plus it idles like crap.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
My Kmanager is the latest version as well as the driver.

Go to Online, Tools and clear security. When that is done, close the program. Reopen Kmanager and go to File, New and open a PNF calibration (choose the one closest to your setup). Now upload this calibration. If you continue to have more problems the ecu is more than likely damaged.
You should not be using a Turbo calibration with a supercharger as it has completely different tuning.

So what if I swap in my new k20a2, will I have issues with the calibration? It only happens when I load a rsx calibration but not with a ep3 calibration.

What does the sticker say that is on the inside of the ecu on the white connector?

If you get the P1607 error uploading a PRB calibration into a PNF, try loading a PNF calibration and if the error goes away, you will have to use only PNF calibrations. If you get this error even after loading a PNF calibrations then there is a problem with the ecu and you will have to replace the ecu.
