well lets see, if you are using acual P30 pistons with LS rods and pistons, I would say your comp. ratio would be somewhere around 13.0:1. This is assuming that you have not had the head shaved and/or running a thinner headgasket.
Honestly I believe in running "higher" comp. ratios with turbo setups simply because it is more streetable. But this might be too much. When comparing a same engine/turbo setup between two engines. But one is running say 9:1 and the other is running 10:1. The 10:1 will make more torque. Torque is GOOD! This gets you through the gears. But you will have to run a higher octane of course, and you wont be able run as much boost as the 9:1 comp. engine. But you wont really need to unless its a track only car. Take a look at this: http://forums.evans-tuning.com/viewtopic.php?t=1612
When tuning an engine with 13:1 comp ratio and say, 8psi of boost. You will have to retard your timing quite a bit due to piston to valve clearance and detonation. You would most likley have to run race gas all the time to keep from detonating. Or a meth/alchohol injection. Just remember to K.I.S.S<---Keep It Simple and Sweet. Meaning stick to basics. Not some crazy race motor.
I might not be as knowledgeable as a renown engine builder and hondata tuner but this is My own opinion based on my knowledge. Criticism is allowed people. Someone give some input.
