2004 acura rsx-s with k-pro

So i've installed the software and drivers several times for the newest downloadable k-pro, and still i cannot datalog. I plug the usb cord into my laptop, and the lightning bolt wil not become available. When I do the USB test it says that the test failed, yet I can't seem to fix it. Any ideas?

Go through the USB driver trouble shooting:
- open the device manager
- plug into the ECU and switch on the ignition
- check for any devices with a yellow exclaimation mark
- update drivers for any devices as above

If that does not work, then from 'Add and Remove Programs' uninstall the KPro drivers, then re-install KManager.
