i am looking for a calibration for IPS KSC cams. i want to use it as a starting point for tuning. I am running JR 9psi, 550cc injectors, CAI, SSR header, 2.75 inch exhaust, ...

if you have one, please send it to anthony2102@hotmail.com.

Thanks in advance,
Anthony

I don't think rc 550's will work. Their spray pattern prevents them from working well at 9psi and they develop misfires. Additionally, the power produced with KSCs at 9psi may go beyond the capabilities of 550s anyway. I would suggest moving to 650s -- it will make your life easier.

kinnda off topic.

should I move to 650cc? or 750cc? The reason is as follows

I check my datalog. Due to belt slippage, i only get like 6psi in high cam on a 9 psi pulley. With 550cc injectors,
at 8200rpm --> 80% of the injectors duty cycle
at 8700rpm --> 90% of the injectors duty cycle

Assuming I can tighten the belt to get no slippage at high cam and with the IPS KSC cams, I might get 10 psi?

That's make me wonder if 650cc is enough. The injectors are kinda expensive. I don't want to buy one set and find out they aren't good enough.

I doubt you will see 10 psi unless you have an exhaust or header restriction. Generally speaking, if you're making more power with the JRSC, and with the KCS cams you should be, you will see a boost drop which represents the decrease in intake restriction and increase in CFM the motor is moving. 650s with a walbro should be fine in my opinion, but you can go with 750s and it will not affect you daily and you will have more room to grow, ie nitrous. You may be about to bump into the stock fuel pump limit by the way. The walbro in tank pump is only $100 and will solve any fueling issues you have with an s/c.
