alot of people say to use the rsx tuned map on the ep3 type r
edited from 3 to 2 to work
i tried this today
with 1.2.2.2 and its rsx tuned stock map
when hitting 6800 rpm the car spluttered and died (totally died)
as if the fuel was cut off
it started back up fine
i thaught ah well so much for that map
and loaded the k20a2 civic type r tuned map back in
that did exactly the same thing
ive been messing with it all day
fitted the factory ecu back in worked great so wasnt engine problems
in the end i did a erase ecu (clear security)
and re uploaded the map its working fine now
also the rsx map works fine
any idea's why it did this
luckily i was logging at the time

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
The first line of the calibration file is 'Please don't edit this file directly'. You can't help but see this as you edit the calibration. Please, tell me why you ignore this warning? I'm not being hostile or sarcastic, I just want to know what I need to do in order to communicate a request to people, and get them to follow it.
With RE4 I ended up adding a checksum to the calibration.

it seems odd that the map was changed back to the ep3 type r map
and it kept doing it
and didnt clear up until i totally cleared out the ecu
both the typer and the rsx map both run now
