I have a dilemma i am trying to resolve

I have an engine from a 2002 rsx base automatic

I have a type s chassis that I will be putting this into

I am going to be using my type s 6 speed tranny along with the k20a3 engine from the base rsx

I want to make sure of a couple of things.

1. that i can use the k203 auto engine harness with this
2. What ECU would i need to run this? the BASE rsx 5 speed ECU?
3. is the gauge cluster and harness compatible with the base ecu either auto or 5 speed.
4. what would happen if i tried to run the base auto ecu with the 6 speed tranny?

the automatic harness will probably work, it's nto something we have a definite answer on. You will need a K-Pro for this, and since you are using a 6 speed transmission you should use a PRB ecu and have the wiring for the reverse lockout from the Type S engine harness.

why would a base rsx 5 speed ecu not work?

imean i know it wont work optimally but why would it not work period?

You will not have reverse lockout.
