If I were to install s300 in a p28 ecu....I wouldn't have knock sensor ability correct? I want an ecu that has vtec and knock sensor, but I'm having a hard time finding them. On hondata ecu applications, it says that the p28 ecu has vtec but not knock sensor. So if I want knock sensor will I have to get a ecu with the knock sensor?....like the P30 or P72?

you would be correct.

Or you can get yourself a J&S safeguard and that device is able to detect and retard knock counts. My brother used it for a long time on his JRSC set up along side a MSD 6BTM before he installed the AEM EMS to his B18c1, good luck.
