Engine Light, will reflash correct?

I will be purchasing a reflash, not a K-Pro. I was hoping you could help me out before I send in my ECU.
I have a '02 RSX-S with little mods: air intake, DC Sport headers (Not Race,) and a cat-back exhaust. After installing my headers, my engine light came on like so many others on forums. Checked the codes, then replaced the primary o2 sensor, and reset the ECU. Engine light came right back on in just a few minutes.
Will this problem go away with your reflash? Or should I first invest in a secondary o2 sensor? It seems the light turns on not because the sensor is bad, but because the readings are not in factory ranges. Am I correct?
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to installing the reflash. Everyone says Hondata is the best!
