Strangely I was driving the other day and only a half block from my house the car just dies and the CEL goes solid and the car wont restart at all. Lucky for me I coasted down hill to my house and made it into the driveway. (Man thats luck!) Anyhow, I check a few things in the driveway and it still wont restart. Then I pull the 4 wire plug off the Hondata box and plug it back in and the car starts back up without any problems. Could the plug have been at fault or did something else cause the error codes which stalled the car?

Code 14 is my idle control valve which is stock, plug is fine though the screen might be slightly dirty.

Code 15 is the ignition signal, i'm guessing that is why it wouldnt restart. Strangely it would just barely fire for a half second and stall again so it was still getting spark.

Hondata interface cable functions only during start up, datalogging and setting buttons.

If you remove the interface box with the engine running nothing will happen. But if you try to start without it CEL comes on.

Hmm, any clue why my car stalled while driving (and perfectly normal i might add) and wouldnt restart until I waited a min or two while cursing at it in my driveway?

mine does that sometimes as well... it must just be a random connectivity thing..

you should have Poor man started it.. popped the clutch while rolling :)

It died while in gear going 40mph, it didnt restart while rolling I tried...

I'm more worried about the codes it came up with and why.
