First of all, I've read all the posts regarding car won't start, MAP, Fuel problems etc on this forum as well as all the help section and haven't got to the root cause of my problem yet.
I have a newly built ls-vtec/turbo Integra with a 2L darton B-18, crower internals on both, head and block (stage 3). The Injectors are 850cc and a resistor box was installed. Edelbrock manifold with 68mm throttle and everything is ported and polished. GM 3bar Map sensor and MSD ignition.
I bought the hondata S-300 from the local authorized dealer which also installed it along with the boost control option. The computer was tested on the vendor's car (which will also be the tuner when I get the car to run) and was working fine. The wiring on the MAP sensor, boost controller and ls/vtec was performed and double verified with the technical forums mainly from this site.
I have an AEM UEGO not yet installed (mainly because of confusion if it will or will not work with the s-300). The boost control wire has not been yet connected to the computer (because I haven't been able to find the female square connector....can anybody tell me wher i can find this?)
I'm new to hondata, hence I proceeded to do my base map as all the posts say by getting the b16a_greedy calibration and changing my injectors, map and boost control options and disabling the knock sensor. I put the switch on, the computer lights up in green :P . I proceed to upload the base map. I try to start the car and the sensors on the SManager Display start to erratically give readings and errors. The Computer lights up the red light, but the green does not turn off. If I clear the errors, the red light will remain on and when I try to start the car again, the errors come back. THE CAR DOESN't START! . The MAP readings seem to be ok though.
I proceeded to remove the spark plugs and check if they and the injectors were working and they appeared to be working fine. The engine is turning and backfiring (detonation), but slow (slow starting noise too). Played with the fuel trimming for a while, but still no luck.
I upload the P72 stock calibration and there are no errors when I try to start the car, however it still doesn't start with the stock injectors, nor after changing the injector size.
Can you guys help me troubleshoot the situation, I truly don't know where to start looking as all that came to mind was already checked. I tried to be very specific, but let me know if you guys need more information or if you would like me to post my calibration or datalog (if I can do it).
I though about getting another stock vtec computer and see if car starts, but haven't found anyone that has one and can lend it to me yet. Another thing is the battery, I'm suspected on this due to the slow start, however I did put a mustang's battery on and got the same problem.
Thanks in advance!
Requesting Help, Erratic sensor behavior/ car won't start
Since you know the ecu works fine in another car, it sounds like you may have a mechanical or electrical problem of some kind in this vehicle. This is nearly impossible to attempt to troubleshoot via the internet. I would suggest having the car towed to a Hondata dealer to have them go over the install of everything and see if they can determine your problem. you might try using the stock ignition as we have seen problems using aftermarket ignition systems.

Injectors are firing. Fuel pressure at 40psi at the AEM fuel rail. There is spark and as I wrote above, the car did the starting detonations if started long enough. (so there was fuel + spark at the chambers)
The MAP sensor is a GM, but not sure which of the three. How can I check that out?... I used the Motec 3bar at the calibration and it seems to be reading ok.
Thanks for replying!

Before going any further, try your ecu in another vehicle and make sure it is still working correctly as it was in the beginning.
Taken straight form teh Smanager Help file:
"The GM 3 way solenoid is a popular normally open solenoid use for boost control:
Solenoid GM part #1997152
Wiring connector GM part #12102747 "

okay, the boost control solenoid was bought from the hondata dealer. However, the cable that goes to pin A11 on the ECU need a square conector (female) where the pin on the ECU (male) inserts. I need the female connector.
I'll check the ECU on another vehicle. This might take some time though, because I don't have any friends with Honda or Integras....I'll have to rely on my friend's friends.
Any other suggestion on the meanwhile?

What are the non-stock ignition problems you talked about earlier?...I have the stock distributor with the MSD CAP and coil.
Can any of the symptoms be related to an ignition timing or vaccum problem?...or boost control option on the calibration with missing wire on the A11 pin?
I checked the ground on the engine bay and block and was ok.
I just read something on another forum about MAP and TPS plugs swapped which makes me wonder if I did that same stupid thing.....I'll check and let you know.
But still, Why it doesn't give the error codes on the stock program?....and why the slow start and why doesn't it start?....
I'm expecting a very frustrating weekend, hopefully with a happy ending. However, your contributions will be greatly appreciated.
