hello guys i have a 94 acura integra gsr. i recently installed a turbo on it and removed the oil pressue /sender. is this the reason why the v tec wont kick in i set it higher to 5500 to catch the peak turbo motion but now all the motor does is bog type. any help would be gratly appreciated
my 4 banger will out run your 8 so ybuygm

There is not enough information to provide a good answer to your problem, but ill try :) The oil pressure switch (idiot light) off the back of the block, is just a light. It does not have any affect on the VTEC. There may be a low oil pressure issue, but not likely. I would leave the VTEC switch over at the factory set RPM point and check the IAB. I had a few cars come through with the plug un-pluged or the vacumm hose is plugged. This will kind of give you a soft VTEC cross-over and alot of people could mistake it as no VTEC switch over. You should be able to see this on the hondata display if the VTEC is on or off. The datalog is real good for troubleshooting also. Hope this helps, and good luck with it.
