what idle adjustment will help with stalling at cold temps?

My JRSC ITR with 7.5 psi has trouble in the cold. If temps are low, typically below 25 degrees F, then the motor starts, runs rough for a second and cuts off. This will continue unless i give it some gas to hold the rpm's up. After about 3 seconds I can let it go and the car will idle fine and warm up on its own.
This idle problem is only present at really low temps. At temps of about 30 degrees F and above, the motor does not act in this manner.
What do I need to adjust for this?

what year is the car? Have you tried inverting the purge?

the R is a 1998. I am using a chipped P06.
I have not tried messing with any of the settings yet.
What would inverting the purge be changing?
Any idea why it is temperature related?

Since we don't have the car here in front of us, it is impossible to really troubleshoot this type of issue. You might be better off taking the car to a Hondata dealer and have them look at it for you.
You may want to unplug the idle controller with the car warm and see where the car idles. If it dies you need to follow the Helms manual for adjusting idle. It should be at about 450-500 with the idle controlller disconnected.

the last dealer I went to screwed up the tune... probably as bad as you can.
I started with the 9 psi JRSC ITR file from Hondata, and then made fuel adjustments from that. I flew in Trey Commander to tune it and teach me how to use the software. It ran absolutely flawless until temps reached about 20 degrees.
I will mess with it and post what I can find. Thanks for the input.
