p28 ecu with knock sensor capability

can a p28 obd1 ecu read knock sensor from a 95 h22 and can it be converted from auto to manual and do i need the iab control if i'm running a turbo or should i just get the p72 obd1 ecu.

p28 doesn't have a knock board unless someone has converted it. does yours have a daughterboard on a ribbon cable? if not no knock. it can be converted to manual trans w/ the appropriate component changes. it won't control iab, but you can remove them from the manifold or just disconnect the vac line from the iab actuator and plug the vac line.

or

just use a p72 if you want to have knock and iab control.
