Input conditions

I would like to know what is required to use each of the activation inputs . Would be nice to have in the documentation.

I am looking for an input to activate full throttle shift using the cruise control switch. And another separate input to use for nitrous activation.

I am already using the ACSW input
I use VTEC (I don't know if that means I can't use the pressure switch activatoin?)
I use power steering ( don't know if it rules that one out too.)
Brake switch ( I use my brakes and lights, rule that out?)
Service connector (I have heard of negative effects? anyone use this?)

Also it would be nice to add to the documentation if the input needs to be grounded or +12v

Good idea. Added to SManager help:

AC Switch: Activates when grounded. Normal function is to idle the engine up and delay the AC clutch when activated. Can only be used when you do not have AC. Note that if you want to use the AC Switch itself, then you need to alter the vehicle wiring to ground the other side of the AC Switch.

PS Pressure: Activates when grounded. Normal function is to idle the engine up slightly when the steering is turned. If you have PS then remove the pin from B8 and insert a pin wired to your own switch.

SCS: Activates when grounded. Normal function is to read error codes.

Brake Switch: Activates to 12V. Normal function is to idle up very slightly when the brake is pressed. Remove the factory pin from D2 and insert a pin wired to your own switch.

VTEC Pressure: Activates when grounded. Normal function is to disable VTEC is your oil pressure is very low. Can only be used on non-JDM ECUs. If you have an engine which uses VTP then disable the VTP error check in SManager, remove the factory pin from D6 and insert a pin wired to your own switch.

the SCS also allows for idel and TPS and TB adjsutments w/o the ecu fighting the tuner correct? if this is the case won't using the SCS cause a problem then? I know when I attempted to use mine it caused me several issues and once I remvoed it, everything worked fine.

thoughts?
