Hondata

I installed a Comptech catback system and the Hondata reflash. The reflash is amazing. 100% satisfied. The reflash really unleashes the animal in the SI. I have a few questions.

1. If Honda issues software upgradesand my dealership downloads it to my vehicle, will it overwrite the Hondata software?

2. I've noticed that the DBW lag seems to be a little more noticeable, especially at WOT shifts from first to second. Anything to look for?

3. I've also noticed the there seems to be some popping/backfiring around 4500RPM under moderate acceleration. Anything to look for? Could it be that I live in the Northeast and with the cold temps, the fuel mapping is too rich?

What date did you get the reflash?

Early December.

You already have the rev hang fix. If Honda reflashes your ecu the Hondata program will be lost, however at this time Honda should not be able to overwrite the Hondata reflash.

OK. Any suggestions or insight to my other questions?

We do not change any of the fueling on the reflash and the drive by wire fix was done by Honda, we just incorperated it into the reflash.
