quick question..

my afr readings in s300 jumps around so fast and flickers too much that its hard to read the decimal numbers.. I"m running the lm1 and the afr reading on it is so much easier to read on the lm1 display as it does not jump up and down as sporadically like on the s300 display screen..

is this normal, or do i have my settings wrong somewhere??

I have the same wideband sensor and my readings are jumpy as well... the gauge is easier to read but on SManager it fluctuates rapidly. The gauge could read 14.7 while SManager displays a range from 14.2 to 15.2. I would really love to have these readings calmed down and steady.

try changing your settings like refresh rates and sampling rates. that might help. Your wideband does the same thing. but it has a built in buffer so that the readings slow down and you can get useful info.

My plx M300 does the same thing the readings are so fast that it gets confusing. but lambda overlay helps.

how do you change the refresh/sampling rate in smanager?? I tried it with the lm1 by using the advance option and it still didn't help.. The smanager was still not displaying the afr's steadily..

It doesn't have one in the software.

Try changing the values in the device manager.

I wouldn't worry about it though. I think you should use the sensor overlay option. It would be more accurate.

There is no problem. You need it to read exactly what the wideband is reading. Make recordings and then review them to see where you need to make changes.
