Hi.

I just bought new K-pro PRB ECU and wideband O2 sensor (36531-PRB-A01) for my 2005 Euro Honda Civic Type R.

Which calibration should I use, civictyper or rsx?

I?m running tvo setups:

Winter: stock with drop in filter and Hondata heatshield gasket

Summer: Injen cold air, Toda header and exhaust and Hondata heatshield gasket

Can you please advise my which calibration I should use with these setups?

Is there any calibration loaded into the new ECU?

Thanks T?mas

If using a PRB ECU then you must use a RSX calibration. Start with the stock-tuned calibration, and then you will need to dyno tune for the Toda/Injin setup.

n0stra: post has been deleted because this is something that people should not do.

Fair enough, would be interesting though to know whats the real difference between rsx-s maps and euro ctr maps since the engine and transmission should be the same. So that one could warn others since this is something that is widely spread amongst professional hondata tuners and providers.

Internally the ECU runs different code between the PRA and PRB, and the tables cannot just be copied over.

The first thing you see when you open the calibration file is 'please do not edit this file'. It seems that people are imune to warnings.
