How about implementing a feature that allows nitrous engagement to be gear dependent? This way I could use a 50 shot in 2nd, a 100 in 3rd, then both shots in 4th!!

This would be a useful way to control wheelspin when nitrous is used.

For dual stage nitrous you need two outputs (one for each solenoid). Therefore, you can use nitrous1 for the first stage and nitrous2 for the second.

That's what I'm doing, but I want 3 stage, stage 1 in 2nd gear, stage 2 in 3rd gear, then stage 1+2 in 4th.

There are only two outputs for nitrous. What about using the boost control PWM output for a progressive shot? The only issue would be if the ECU output transistor could handle the current from the nitrous solenoid.

Better still!! But I don't think the transistor can handle it, my solenoids draw > 20A so there would need to be some kind of solid state relay, I'll look into getting a couple.

No - you can't use a relay as it will block the PWM wave. You need an injector driver or similar.

How about nitrous 1 for the first stage, nitrous 2 for the second and both 1 and 2 for the third. Only 2 outputs are needed for this.

i.e

Stage 1: 50 shot
Stage 2: 100 shot
Stage 3: 50+100 shot = 150 shot.

There are now 3 nitrous outputs.
