Help! starting issues

I almost have my motor started, but;

While cranking with everything plugged in, engine will turn over you can hear the engine wanting to start firing but no start. strong smell of fuel so i'll disconected the injectors then try again, car will start right up nice, but of course will die of no fuel because of injectors. using rc injectors 440's saturated. w/ ignition on set fuel pressure to 55 psi. got good spark and compression. started w/ usdmp72 calib adjusted to 440's, then used a new calib. set to 440's. still no change in condition, has to be fuel related id assume. dont have access to ocilliscope till tueday, has anyone had this particular problem before i start digging deeper. also i dont think they do but do injectors have certain polarity?

Try lowering the fuel pressure to 45.

I have seen this before. I think the scaling function of the software for bigger injectors doesn't scale the low end as accurately as the rest of the map. Play with the cranking trim. You should also datalog start up and watch the areas of the map that are used. Make slight changes there and see what happens.
